Masterclass Repertoire

The theme for this year’s masterclass is French composers*, and in particular the Ibert Concerto. Each participant is invited to choose a flute and piano work from the standard literature to perform in a 30 minute masterclass coaching with the faculty and collaborative pianist, Miles Massicotte. We would like at least 3 people to choose one movement of the Ibert Concerto so that we can cover this important work during the class.

*i.e. Faure, Enesco, Gaubert, Taffanel, Chaminade, Hue, Dutilleux, Messaien, Sancans, Chant de Linos

Baroque Repertoire

For Leela Breithaupt’s masterclasses we will be seeking players to prepare movements from the J.S. Bach Orchestral Suite No. 2 in B minor and Telemann Fantasies #1 A Major, #6 D minor,#10 F Minor.

Masterclass assignments will be on a first come basis; upon completion of registration participants will have access to an online sign-up sheet.
